World Rugby and the British & Irish Lions announce a groundbreaking strategic collaboration that will see the RugbyPass App become the designated home of the British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia in 2025.

It’s an American double header in Washington DC, as the women get their final preparations for the Women’s Rugby World Cup underway against Fiji, and the men welcome England, who are fresh off a successful tour of Argentina.

In one of two warm up matches prior to the World Cup, the USA Women’s side will open the day’s play at Audi Field by taking on Fijiana, who themselves have one eye on next month’s action in England.

Fresh off an ESPY win, fans may get a glimpse of Ilona Maher, who has rejoined the squad for their final home test of the year.

Despite missing a number of their frontline players to the British & Irish Lions Tour, England’s men won both of their tests in South America, leapfrogging their opposition in the world rankings to regain 5th place.

In the final leg of their summer tour, they will take on a USA team ranked 15th in the world.

The Eagles, who are preparing for the Pacific Nations Cup and potential Rugby World Cup qualification next month, have played two tests already this summer, beating Belgium before succumbing to Spain, with this England test providing an excellent opportunity to test themselves against high quality opposition.

Both games will be live on CBS Sport and Paramount+ to viewers in the United States, with the game available to the rest of the world live and for free on RugbyPass TV.

In a winner takes all clash, not only will Namibia or Zimbabwe claim Rugby Africa Cup supremacy, but they will also book their flights to Australia for the Men’s Rugby World Cup in 2027.

Kicking off at 14:00 BST on Saturday, Zimbabwe will be looking to repeat their 2024 Rugby Africa Cup triumph, while Namibia will want to secure an eighth consecutive World Cup qualification.

Separated on the world rankings by only one spot, both sides will rate their chances of joining South Africa at the World Cup, while the loser will take on the United Arab Emirates in a one-off match to qualify for the Final Qualification Tournament later in the year.

In the Cup’s other matches, Kenya and Algeria meet in the 3rd place playoff, Morocco and Senegal compete for 5th and hosts Uganda will take on Cote D’Ivoire for 7th place.
