Jack Conan Bio

Born 29 July 1992, Jack Conan began playing rugby at a young age. While playing junior rugby, he was picked up by the Leinster Academy.

After a string of impressive performances for the Leinster Academy sides, he made his debut for the first team in 2014. Since, he's made more than 150 appearances for the province.

During his career with Leinster, he has played a crucial role in helping the side capture four back-to-back Pro14 titles (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021). He also helped the team clinch European Rugby Champions Cup in 2018 and captained the Leinster team that won the 2024-25 United Rugby Championship final.

Thanks to his impressive performances for Leinster, Jack Conan made his Ireland debut in 2015. He'd also previously represented the U20 side and the Ireland Wolfhounds.

Ever since, Jack Conan has become an established member of the Ireland team. On the international stage, his greatest performances came in 2018, when he helped Ireland capture the Grand Slam in the Six Nations Championship. He then repeated the trick in 2023.

Due to his excellent form for both Leinster and Ireland, Jack Conan was named in the British and Irish Lions squad for the team’s 2021 tour of South Africa. He played in all three tests as the Lions lost a closely-fought series 2-1. He’ll tour with the team once again in 2025, as he was named in Andy Farrell’s squad for the tour of Australia

With many years of top-class rugby ahead of him, we can't wait to see what else Jack Conan can achieve for Leinster and Ireland.
