Thrashed almost everywhere except the scoreboard. We’ll take it.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

France can be proud.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Kirifi doing his best Ben Earl impersonation.

G
GH 36 days ago

Go C Team ! 😁Just keep “disrespectful”

A
AW 36 days ago

What Disrespect!! New Zealand’s old poor performance to hold the ball and turnover’s lost should have reflected a bigger thrashing, NZR need to reflect their decision on a 2nd grade NZ team‼️NZ will have to learn from a young Talented French side, that the future of NZ Dominance is over, so there definitely was no disrespect!

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Heroic performance from France’s C Team. The depth and experience gained tonight for Galthie and this young side - priceless.

Well done France. Well done!

T
Tim 35 days ago

Did you miss the result?

S
SadersMan 36 days ago

The reality though is that France was thrashed in both possession 62/38 & territory 63/37 by a very rusty ABs that had three disallowed tries (all good calls imo) & a major reshuffle to deal with after 57 seconds. Thrashed almost everywhere except the scoreboard. Thankfully, neither Razor nor the ABs bought into the media nonsense that the French were useless.

This test had the makings of when the Baby Blacks beat France in 1986, when the first string ABs were all banned due to a rebel tour to RSA in 1985.

A good win to start the 2025 ABs campaign off.

T
TT 36 days ago

3rd disallowed AB try. 1st 2 yes ish.

3rd, obstruction. Delusional. Obstruction is NOT about what defender MIGHT be able to do WAY in the future moves.

Watch decoy runners Ireland (the worst!), Bok, almost all international teams.

N
Nickers 36 days ago

The issue was he was ahead of the ball carrier, so he wasn’t a dummy runner he was a blocker.

A
AW 36 days ago

Excuses again, referees were on the mark, this is international rugby not Super Rugby!

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Obstruction all day long.

Per the wise words of your NZ commentary:

“This is not super rugby”

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Language Razor!

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

The French have to make the most of this now and break hearts.

A
AW 36 days ago

Well with 8 Frenchmen coming out to boost the young talent, let’s watch this space!

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Great call. Well done Nic.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

If any one complains about Berry, I’m going to get upset.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

All France needs is an intercept try or one of those long range runs into the corner with their speedy backs. I feel it.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Any comparisons with Bongi’s try will not be entertained. This was different.

t
tt 36 days ago

If for one second I thought you were a genius Id ask you to explain why.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

No complaints about refereeing will be tolerated!

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Thanks Nic. It was too good a contest for it to remain 15 v 15.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Keep the f****ing ball and go through the phases!!!

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Keep the ball and go through the phases.

T
Tim 35 days ago

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to forward it to Razor.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Ooh.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

French fans will be waking up about now to catch this second half.

Bonjour

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Israel Dagg needs to stay off the sauce if he’s going on camera

E
Easy_Duzz-it 36 days ago

ref has been good tonight so far .

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

The French looked good keeping possession. Allowed the ABs to get momentum. A few wise words from Galthie, more of the 1st 20 and France can still pull off a historic win with their C Team.

French need to play for territory and possession in the second half. They looked dangerous when they did in the first 20.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Looks like BB is playing his last game at 10 for the ABs. I’d rather have Dmac at first receiver.

W
Wiseguy 36 days ago

Just tell us you don’t know rugby

E
Easy_Duzz-it 36 days ago

bb just needs to back himself and run the ball . he kicks and releases the pressure .

T
TT 36 days ago

Peter Umaga-Jensen should at least be in the squad if not 1st choice midfielder. Incomparable power.

E
Easy_Duzz-it 36 days ago

good to see the front row doing there job …

T
TT 36 days ago

Black mark against Proctor for that 1st French try. WAY OUT of defence position.

E
Easy_Duzz-it 36 days ago

hes having a shocker . id like to see the highlanders 12 get a crack

E
Easy_Duzz-it 36 days ago

been a while since ive seen the front row do that … pick and go and make meters

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Mistakes creeping in from the French who were flawless for 20. Letting the ABs back in.

E
Easy_Duzz-it 36 days ago

if barret can run more and kick less itll make a difference

T
TT 36 days ago

AGAIN! Did you just see BB pop kick a ball in his own 22 to no where or one (with 4 to pass to) for it to then roll out for a French throw in.

Is his role to play for opposition's??!!

Meanwhile DMcK attacks & beats all over the field.

T
TT 36 days ago

… as true his past 5 years!

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

This is going to get embarrassing for the ABs.

No possession and no ideas when they do.

The ABs look terribly one dimensional. Gonna be a tough day at the office.

T
TT 36 days ago

Disagree. Now starting to use forwards & backs.

T
TT 36 days ago

ABs (probably most teams) traditionally pretty rusty 1st game of season.

Then this French B team have never played together.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

C Team

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

The French are amazing under the high ball. Amazing

E
Easy_Duzz-it 36 days ago

barret kicking possesion away and putting us under pressure , hessss trassssshhhhh

T
TT 36 days ago

Isn't that his only thought / action ever in rugby??

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Try time

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

If Cam Roigard is the best scrumhalf in the world - I’m a monkey’s uncle.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

ABs defence. Poor.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

This French team looking decidedly not C Team.

T
TT 36 days ago

DMcK where he should have been from the start.

A
AW 36 days ago

DMcK had a good game, but he needs to learn to pass, playing as a Individual is still getting himself in trouble?

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

France aren’t going to be put away easily today. No sir.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Sevu should go to tackle school for that one.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

Any complaints about Nic Berry after the match will be filed away under file 13.

No YouTube videos permitted.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

No complaints will be entertained whatsoever.

H
Hammer Head 36 days ago

The nun kits are cute

H

No Māoris were hurt in the opening ceremony
